Travelers & Property Owners Want Shared Vacation Home Rentals

VeryUs, Stay Social™ reveals travelers are open to the idea of sharing vacation home rentals together, while property owners & managers want to extend their season stays without any strings attached.

Since the launch of the VeryUs, Stay Social beta launch campaign (Request Invite Here), and the feedback has been nothing short of incredible from those who want a better way to travel and also manage their properties.

So far we have received iquiries for over 2,000+ exclusive and luxury properties including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and as far away as Australia, Italy and Germany. We have received just over 200+ invitation requests from travelers who are looking to experience a new way to travel socially. The reach has been far greater than expected in just these first 2 weeks, and we know there is a long way to go before tackling regulation hurdles so travelers can get matched together based on social interest to split the price of renting vacation homes together.

As the sharing economy grows with 93% of travelers today favoring experience and price as the most important element in booking their next vacation home rental, we know this is achievable under the new VeryUs, Stay Social platform because we are committed to changing the face of travel forever to help create a better system for both travelers and property owners like you.

To make this happen, we’ve established 2 main goals for each type of customer:

Managers / Owners

Goal #1: Owners & Managers

Property managers will have access to “Range Booking” which is based on accepting a % of max reservation rate. This patent technology is the key to making your business grow. For example, if we can match 4 traveling groups who share common interests to rent your 5 bedroom home, would you accept 80% of the original reservation?

You will have that option to accept or reject the reservation by continuing the availability offer in the calendar system. Certainly our goal is to match all 5 groups for you for 100% of the sale, but no where in the history of renting is this being done, only at auctions. And well…we feel auctions are a step down in face value for property owners.

Each owner will be able to set those min + max thresholds for accepting the reservation. It will be flexible based on your operating costs, overhead, etc. and clicking the “Accept” button will begin the deposit process for owners.

Travelers

Goal #2: Social Travelers

Social travelers who pool their money together have the greatest access to vacation rental inventory. This gives travelers more buying power, enough to save between 50%-90% off the original reservation rate for any property which includes the luxury market!

We believe this will be the biggest driving opportunity that will open up the market for new experiences in quality. When travelers are able to save such enormous rates on reservation travel under this concept for sharing homes together, this allows travelers to also have more to spend on local attractions and activities which will help boost the local economy.

In a recent study, travelers who are participating in the sharing economy are spending 30% more into nearby merchant stores for considerable growth. The bigger the savings, the larger network of social connections are made, the greater the area economic impact, and the cycle of happy experiences continue!
